New Charges from January 2007

At the last PaddlePlus Committee Meeting it was agreed to increase the annual membership to keep the club on a sound financial footing. The new annual membership will be £20 Junior, unwaged or student. £30 Individual Adult and £45 Family.
The new membership cards, introduced last year have worked well and these will be re-issued at renewal and will need to be presented each time you paddle in exchange for your paddle number tag.
The weekly subs are unchanged. For the later session £3 with boat hire and Visitor at £1 each. The £1 visitor will be applied to anyone not presenting a membership card. There is a maximum of three sessions as a visitor. Coaches who have not been involved in the evenings junior session (or in the winter) will pay £2 to paddle.

The Junior sessions, when they start again, will again be £3.50. Included in this is £1 which will go into a fund to purchase new club equipment.
I hope, like the Committee, you feel that the charges still offer good value for money and allow the club to make a positive contribution to the Centre and watersports in the area.
Last year we were able to purchase four new creek boats which alongside our Dynamos and Masterlights and other equipment give the club a good range of craft to compliment the Centre's fleet.
John Likko was appointed as our equipment officer at the last AGM and he will be working on an inventory of club equipment.
